Parish Workday
Please supply your own gloves, eye/ear protection, and refreshments (primarily drinks) Work tools needed: weed eaters, blowers, yard rakes, power washer, hoses, small utility trailer, pole saw, limb pruner
Project List
Weed/rake/ inspect/make repairs as needed ~ children’s playground equipment
Clean out debris & weed eat along Mayfield property line back to parking lot
Clean and weed out Memorial Garden beds
Clean & weed eat ditch on north side of church property
Reroute & conceal hoses supplying water to Memorial Garden soaker hoses
Remove weeds/vines/debris from all 3 AC enclosures and clean areas inside.
Declutter, clean out and organize closet in Parish Hall
Declutter & organize storage closet in Education Building
Power blow driveways and parking lots clean from leaves/debris
Trim tree branches hanging over parking lot/road & trim all palm trees as needed
Transport & pile limbs/palm fronds on church property next to 3 rd Street
Inspect church pews and chairs for loose parts or dislocated pieces – repair, refasten, etc as required
Selectively limb-up certain trees in meadow area and discard cut parts by piling on 3 rd Street with other debris
Do maintenance (tighten as needed) and clean stations of cross (if not completed)
NOTE: Because we had all church buildings & concrete surfaces commercially power washed in summer 2025, power washing is limited to a few areas.

Some parishioners may wear more formal Sunday dress, while others may wear flip flops and shorts. Depending on the season, one may even find a Saints jersey or two!

A biographical questionnaire is available for assistance in developing your bio info. Or, send your completed questionnaire to Avis Bourdette to prepare on your behalf.
