Christ Church is a parish in transition between permanent priests. Our nominating period is open until February 11, 2022. ALL parishioners are invited to nominate a member of the clergy. The position description is below:

"We are looking for a rector to set our hearts on fire: a spiritual leader, listener, biblical translator, and fun-loving person who challenges us and reminds us of God's unconditional love for all. 

 Currently, our position is 3 days per week (part-time). Our parish is in a growing area and is itself growing with the potential future need for a full-time rector.

 We are a welcoming community of faith. Nestled by the Gulf of Mexico in Bay St. Louis, MS, we are a devoted and resilient family of diverse backgrounds and ideals who come together to love, serve and grow spiritually. We seek someone who will understand, embrace, and thrive in our laid back, come as you are Gulf Coast culture.

 Worship is the center of our being and we want a rector with a strength for meaningful sermons and the ability to make scripture relevant to our everyday lives. We want someone who will encourage lay leadership and guide the church with warmth, love, a positive attitude, and good communication."
