Annual Fellowship Traditions

One of the many positive things Christ Church is known for is its welcoming spirit and there are many occasions to feel part of the Bay St. Louis community. We truly see ourselves as a family and love breaking bread together, both at the altar and through fellowship as often as possible. Coming together with new acquaintances or joining long-time friends for coffee, a good meal, thoughtful conversation, or in prayer is what makes Christ Church a special church home.

  • Epiphany Burning of the Greens (January)

Our Epiphany celebrations begin with a Service of Light and Eucharist, followed by a procession to the beach for the Burning of the Greens.

  • Easter Egg Hunt (March/April)

The Easter Service is followed by the Children’s Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn. It is truly a joyful day for parishioners of all ages!

  • Pentecost Picnic (May/June)

After the Pentecost Sunday Worship Service, we grill out with hamburgers and hotdogs during a family picnic on the front lawn.

  • Octo-Nona Celebration (October)

Each year we host a reception for all parish octogenarians and nonagenarians, many of them lifelong parish members.
